Spring-Summer 2020 collection - Millefiori, was the latest launch of Péro during my internship. Millefiori is a combination of the Italian words, Mille (as thousand) and fiori (flowers). Péro created diversified floral trims and embroidery details as the season’s name suggests. Varied materials are used in this season for creating assorted flowers incorporating laser-cut organza petals were moulded to create light 3D flowers, chanderi flowers, organza outline flowers, machine embroidered petals and assembled to create flowers. All these flowers were made in number of size and shapes in pastel colors with meticulously crafted beaded centers. All the flowers made differ in medium, materials, shape and look.
Diversified color palette of the season gave it spring and happy feel. Shades of pinks and corals, blue, mint, yellow and white constituted the color wheel of the collection.

Diversified accessories and trims were explored from the materials of the collection to be put on garments - embroidered flowers, fabric petal flowers, latkans/tassels, blobs, brooches, earrings etc. It was then put with beads and dyed ribbons to set a harmonized look.
Khakhas were made according to the placements of trims on the garments for producing multiple copies.
3 Chart of all the final flowers and other trims going in production were made for handing over in - accessories dept., production dept. and one copy for archiving, for future reference. It was done to maintain precision and accuracy across all levels of production.
